Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad today advised his successor Muhyiddin Yassin to resign because the Perikatan Nasional government is no longer seen to be stable. <br /><br />He said this would be the best move for Muhyiddin has he foresees problems for the Bersatu president if he continues to work with Umno.
