Did you do<br />anything else lately?<br />If so, you've got<br />a lot of company.<br />We found that three out of four people used some sort of alternate<br />therapy to their general health when we surveyed 45,601 consumer reports subscribers online.<br />More than 38 million adults attend acupuncturists, chiropractors, therapists and others in the<br />United States every year, each with more than 300 million complementary and alternative practitioners.<br /><br />Despite the hoopla over alternative remedies, the findings indicate that we generally found it much less effective than prescription drugs in the<br />majority of conditions when we asked respondents just how well the interventions they employed were able to work with 12 common health issues.
