Space Object That Passed Earth, Was Likely From Alien World, Says Harvard Professor.<br />Astronomer and Harvard Professor Avi Loeb <br />makes the assertion in his <br />new book, 'Extraterrestrial.'.<br />The cigar-shaped object in question <br />passed by the earth in 2017 at a <br />speed of 196,000 miles per hour.<br />It didn't look like a comet, yet it behaved some like something that has an extra push, Dr. Avi Loeb, Harvard Professor, <br />via CBS News.<br />Loeb believes that the object is actually <br />the debris of alien technology <br />much more advanced than our own.<br />According to NASA, it's "the first object <br />ever seen in our solar system that <br />is known to have originated elsewhere.".<br />Loeb acknowledges that speculating <br />about alien life is "out of the mainstream," <br />but he says it shouldn't be.<br />We should be open minded and search for evidence rather than assume that everything we see in the sky must be rocks, Dr. Avi Loeb, Harvard Professor, <br />via CBS News
