The annual Umno general assembly, which was scheduled for Jan 30 and 31, has been postponed indefinitely due to the movement control order (MCO).<br /><br />Umno secretary-general Ahmad Maslan confirmed this in a statement today.<br /><br />"The new date will be announced later on," he said.<br /><br />He added that party president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi had also agreed for the Umno leadership election to be held at all levels at a suitable date in 2021.
