Phil Spector is the music producer who created the "Wall of Sound" production technique and was convicted of murder.<br />He died Saturday at age 81.<br />California state prison officials said Spector died of natural causes at a hospital.<br />Spector was sentenced to 19 years to life in prison for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson in 2003 in Los Angeles.
