Nestlé Recalls 762,000 Pounds of<br />Hot Pockets Due to Contaminants .<br />The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)<br />has announced a recall of Nestlé’s Hot Pockets. .<br />About 762,615 pounds of pepperoni<br />Hot Pockets have possibly been contaminated<br />with “extraneous materials.” .<br />Those materials are pieces<br />of hard plastic and glass.<br />The issue was apparently discovered<br />when several customers filed complaints with<br />Nestlé after finding the unwanted additives. .<br />One person has reported<br />a “minor oral injury” caused<br />by consuming one of the<br />contaminated Hot Pockets. .<br />The Hot Pockets that possibly contain<br />the “extraneous materials” were produced<br />between November 13 and 16 of last year<br />and shipped nationwide. .<br />They all have a February 2022 expiration date<br />and include lot codes 0318544624, 0319544614,<br />0320544614 and 0321544614.<br />Some product may be frozen and<br />in consumers’ freezers. Consumers<br />who have purchased this product are<br />urged not to consume it. This product<br />should be thrown away or returned<br />to the place of purchase, USDA, via statement
