Actor Dave Franco discusses the making of his directorial debut, “The Rental,” which he co-wrote with Joe Swanberg and stars Dan Stevens, Alison Brie, Sheila Vand and Jeremy Allen White. The film, available July 24 from IFC, centers around four friends who rent a vacation home.
