Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz announced today that the government would make good on its promise to distribute 150,000 free laptops beginning February through Yayasan Hasanah.<br /><br />Previously, in his Budget 2021 speech last year, Tengku Zafrul said the free laptop programme would be funded by government-linked companies.<br /><br />They were to contribute RM150 million for 150,000 students in 500 schools as a pilot project. <br /><br />Yayasan Hasanah is the foundation under state-owned Khazanah Nasional Bhd which is in charge of the free laptops programme. <br /><br />Source: https://www.facebook.com/tzafrulaziz/videos/456833299057015
