Instant Pot Daal Gosht Recipe in English || Punjabi Style Dal Gosht || How to make dal gosht in the instant pot at home <br /><br />Ingredients<br />1 kg Mutton<br />2 Onions (medium size)<br />2 tomatoes (medium size)<br />2 Tbsp. Ginger garlic paste<br />2 Tbsp. Salt OR (to taste) <br />½ cup water<br />1 cup vegetable oil<br />2 ½ Tbsp. Red chili powder OR (to taste)<br />½ Tbsp. Turmeric powder<br />1 Tbsp. Kashmiri chili powder<br />1 ½ Tbsp. Coriander powder<br />2 ½ cups chana dal (split chickpeas)<br />1 ½ Cup Water OR (as required)<br />½ Tbsp. Garam masala powder<br />Cilantro half a bunch<br />Green chili<br />Ginger julienne cut<br /><br />Method<br />Add mutton, onions, tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste, salt, and water in a pressure cooker or instant pot.<br />Pressure cook it for 5 to 8 minutes or until the meat is 95% done.<br />Add oil, red chili powder, turmeric, Kashmiri red chili powder, and coriander powder.<br />Simmer it until oil separates.<br />Add Chana daal (split chickpeas) and simmer for 5 minutes.<br />Add plain water OR (in which daal was soaked for more flavor).<br />Pressure cook for 2 - 3 minutes or until the daal and meat are completely tender.<br />Sprinkle garam masala powder.<br />Garnish it with julienne cut ginger, cilantro (green coriander), and green chilies.<br />Serve with rice or naan.<br /><br />☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝☝<br />Thanks for watching!
