Several people were injured during a massive 40-car pileup on a snowy highway in Iowa on Thursday, authorities said.<br /><br />The multi-vehicle crash happened in the eastbound lanes on Interstate 80 between Colfax and Newton, according to the Iowa State Patrol.<br /><br />The agency said there were “few serious injuries and several minor injuries.”<br /><br />No state troopers were injured, the agency added.
