For the first time in history a Defense Minister of the Soviet Union visits the Pentagon in the United States, Soviet Minister Dimitri Yazov arrived on Sunday for a 6-day visit to that country; he and the US Secretary of Defense discussed military armaments and the reduction of troops in Europe.
