Tamil Nadu government has issued an order withdrawing a total of 308 cases registered against persons over the Jallikattu protests in 2017, in line with Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami's announcement made in the Assembly earlier this month. <br /> <br />CM had announced that those cases which are not serious offences will be dropped in relation to the cases filed during Covid lockdown, CAA protests and Kudankulam protests. <br /> <br />Watch this report for more.
