Spotify has launched a new podcast<br />starring former president Barack Obama and<br />legendary rock star Bruce Springsteen. <br />‘Renegades: Born in the USA,’<br />will span eight episodes with<br />the first two episodes released<br />alongside the announcement. <br />The podcast features the pair<br />talking on a variety of issues. <br />Their conversations will range from<br />politics and the state of the U.S. to fatherhood,<br />manhood and marriage. <br />"It is a personal, in-depth discussion<br />between two friends exploring their pasts,<br />their beliefs, and the country that<br />they love — as it was, as it is, and<br />as it ought to be going forward."Spotify, via NBC News.<br />In the intro to the podcast, Obama also highlighted his and Springsteen’s “shared sensibility.” <br />"In our own ways, Bruce and I have been on parallel journeys trying to understand this country that’s given us both so much." Barack Obama, via NBC News.<br />Spotify signed an exclusive deal with<br />the Obamas in 2019 to produce podcasts. <br />Their first production, ‘The Michelle<br />Obama Podcast,’ was launched last summer<br />and became a top global hit.
