India’s Election Commission announced dates for five upcoming assembly elections in 2021 - West Bengal, Assam, Kerala, Puducherry, and Tamil Nadu. While the state of West Bengal will go to polls in eight phases, Assam will see three-phase voting starting March 27. Results will be announced on May 02. Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry will be held in single phases on April 6.
