Yami Gautam begins shooting for Dasvi<br />Actress Yami Gautam, who will next be seen in Tushar Jalota directorial ‘Dasvi’, has unveiled her first look from the film on social media.<br /><br />In her post, Yami said that she has started shooting for the film and that she was proud and honoured to play role of an IPS officer.<br /><br />Yami took to Instagram and shared a glimpse of her character from the first day on the sets.<br /><br />Alongside the photograph, Yami wrote,<br /><br />“My first day on the set of #Dasvi playing #JyotiDeswal. Proud & honoured to play an IPS officer. #JaiHind.” <br /><br />In the photo, Yami can be seen looking straight into the camera while donning the uniform of an IPS officer.<br /><br />Not just Yami, the film’s other cast Abhishek Bachchan, and Nimrat Kaur had also shared their first look posters earlier.<br /><br />‘Dasvi’ highlights the importance of education in today's society. The film is being produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films and Jio Studios.<br /><br />Apart from ‘Dasvi’, Yami is also a part of Pavan Kirpalani’s horror-comedy film ‘Bhoot Police’ which also stars Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles. The film is scheduled for release on 10 September 2021.
