MVRDV, global operating architecture has unveiled visuals of its Marble Arch Hill viewpoint, which will be constructed near Oxford Street in central London to attract shoppers after the coronavirus pandemic.

"This project is a wonderful opportunity to give an impulse to a highly recognizable location in London," says MVRDV founding partner Winy Maas. The aim of MVRDV is to generate as little waste as possible. As a result, the scaffolding can be effectively disassembled and reused, and the layers of wood, soil, grass, and trees can all be reused in surrounding gardens and parks.

A single continuous path will wind up and around the hill once it is completed. Visitors will then descend back down via a hall within its hollowed-out centre, which will be used for events and exhibitions.

247london-airport-transfers.co.uk
#LondonAirportTransfers #londonarchitects #oxfordstreet #centrallondon
