Nickelodeon Greenlights<br />‘SpongeBob’ Spinoff<br />‘The Patrick Star Show’.<br />On March 4, Nickelodeon confirmed it<br />would be creating a spinoff of the long-running<br />cartoon classic, ‘SpongeBob SquarePants.’.<br />The second original<br />spinoff will be called<br />‘The Patrick Star Show.’.<br />According to Ramsey Naito, President of<br />Nickelodeon Animation, the show will take<br />a look at the early life of Patrick Star,<br />SpongeBob’s loyal companion.<br />Nickelodeon is diving deeper into<br />Bikini Bottom to give fans a look at<br />our lovable young adult Patrick Star<br />and his entire family with a sitcom<br />only he could imagine up, Ramsey Naito, President of<br />Nickelodeon Animation, via ‘Complex’.<br />Naito also said that the new show<br />will allow Nickelodeon to “expand [its]<br />reach” and “tell new stories.” .<br />‘The Patrick Star Show’ will debut on<br />Nickelodeon this summer with 13 episodes. .<br />Bill Fagerbakke will voice young Patrick<br />alongside Tom Wilson as Cecil Star, Cree Summer<br />as Bunny Star, Jill Talley as Squidina Star and<br />Dana Snyder as GrandPat Star.<br />There will also be appearances by the original cast including<br />Tom Kenny as SpongeBob, Rodger Bumpass as Squidward, Carolyn Lawrence as Sandy, Clancy Brown as Mr. Krabs<br />and Mr. Lawrence as Plankton
