Aida Luz Careaga Duran, a teacher from the town of Tupiza, invested part of her salary in biosecurity measures so that her students can attend class in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic.<br />The teacher, who has been doing this job for 16 years, believes that virtual lessons do not give the same results as face-to-face lessons, and therefore she decided to allocate part of her salary to the installation of protective cubicles in the classroom desks where she gives the classes.<br />The cubicles are made of wood and nylon, as this is a more accessible and less dangerous material than glass, but which complies with the necessary sanitary measures to protect each of its students.
