At least 29 people including children, elderly and women were suffocated and severely injured when a massive fire gutted the Lamya Tower at 2:00am. The tower is located in the Al Khan area in Sharjah.<br /><br />The injured were immediately rushed to Al Qasimi hospital and Al Kuwaiti hospital for treatment.
