An investigation is underway after an announcer made sickening racist comments when a high school basketball team knelt during the US National Anthem.<br />The shocking diatribe happened in Oklahoma, when online viewers were subjected to a stream of disgusting racist remarks.<br />The clip was shared on social media, with one user writing: "This is why they kneel."<br /><br />The game was being livestreamed by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Network.<br />In a statement the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association (OSSAA) said it was aware of "very offensive, inappropriate comments" and added: "While we are currently investigating the incident, this crew will not be doing any more games for the remainder of our championships."<br />The NFHS said it was "sickened" by the comments.<br />In a statement the body said: "The thoughts expressed in no way represent the NFHS Network and we are outraged that they found their way into our production.
