In this talk held in Budapest on May 19, 2016 Swiss historian Daniele Ganser argues that most of us want peace in the 21st century.<br /><br />Daniele Ganser argues that we should leave wars for oil and gas behind us and move towards a new energy system based on 100 percent renewable energies such as sun, wind and water.<br /><br />Daniele Ganser argues that all nations should reduce their military spending. He explains that the United States right now has the highest military spending.<br /><br />According to Daniele Ganser the media has spread war propaganda before the attack on Iraq 2003.<br /><br />He rejects the so-called «war against terror» because we still don’t know what happend during the terrorist attacks on 11. September 2001, when also building WTC7 fell, without having been hit by a plane.<br /><br />Dr. Daniele Ganser is a Swiss Historian who is specialized in international politics after 1945. He is the director of the Swiss Institute for Peace and Energy Research (SIPER) in Basel, Switzerland.<br /><br />TED and TEDx talks are limited to 18 minutes.
