During his meeting with chief ministers over resurgence in Covid-19 cases, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 17 called for immediately stopping the emerging second wave of coronavirus, and advised the CMs to take "quick and decisive" steps. <br /><br />"We will have to immediately stop the emerging second wave of Corona and for this, we will have to take quick and decisive steps," PM Modi told the CMs during a virtual interaction. India on March 17 recorded 28,903 fresh cases and 188 deaths in the past 24 hours. The numbers are highest in over three months.
