India on Sunday reported the highest spike in daily coronavirus cases of 2021 with a rise of over 43,000 cases being recorded in the past 24 hours. A total of 43,846 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in the past 24 hours along with 197 deaths. The total number of cases have reached 1,15,99,130 while the death toll has surged to 1,59,755.
