Sandra Oh Speaks out<br />Against Anti-Asian Hate<br />in Impassioned Speech.<br />On Saturday, Sandra Oh made a surprise<br />appearance at a Stop Asian Hate rally in<br />Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.<br />She is currently in the city filming her<br />new Netflix series, ’The Chair.’.<br />In a brief but impassioned speech, Oh encouraged<br />the crowd to “reach out to [their] community.” .<br />For many of us in our community,<br />this is the first time we are even able<br />to voice our fear and our anger … And<br />one way to go through our fear is to<br />reach out to our community, Sandra Oh, via Huffpost.<br />Oh then “challeng[ed]” everyone to stand<br />together and offer “help” when necessary. .<br />If you see something, will you help<br />me? If you see one of our sisters and<br />brothers in need, will you help us? …<br />We must understand, as Asian<br />Americans, we just need to reach out<br />our hand to our sisters and brothers<br />and say, ‘Help me and I’m here.’, Sandra Oh, via Huffpost.<br />She concluded her speech by proclaiming<br />she was “proud to be Asian” and encouraged<br />the crowd to do the same. .<br />I am proud to be Asian!
