A 31 year-old man drowned on Sunday afternoon while swimming at an abandoned quarry sand pit in Windsor Park, Couva.<br /><br />He was liming at the location with friends when he got into difficulty in the water and disappeared, only to be recovered Monday morning.<br /><br />A villager told reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh on Monday, the area is dangerous and restricted, but there is no signage and people often visit the pond.<br />
