Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has shot down speculations that the party might enter into a cooperation with PKR ahead of the next general election.<br /><br />Zahid said there is no such discussion between Umno and the opposition party headed by former prime minister Anwar Ibrahim.<br /><br />"Yes, Anwar and I have bumped into each other at Parliament, at weddings, but no discussions at all, be it formally or informally.<br /><br />"Not with me, not with Mat Hassan," he told English daily The Star recently.
