Akshay Kumar Confirms World Television Premiere Of Durgamati<br /><br />After confirming Laxmii’s world television premiere, superstar Akshay Kumar’s collaboration with Bhumi Pednekar, Durgamati, will soon have its TV premiere as well.<br /><br />After receiving a positive response with its digital release, Durgamati will have its World Television Premiere on 12th March, only on Sony Max.<br /><br />Akshay Kumar posted a poster confirming the news:<br /><br />He wrote:<br /><br /> “The intriguing story of Durgamati is all set to unfold! Watch the World Television Premiere of ‘Durgamati’ on 28th March at 12 PM only on @SonyMAX. ...”<br /><br />The horror thriller, Durgamati is a remake of G. Ashok's Telugu-Tamil bilingual film Bhaagamathie (2018). The film stars Bhumi Pednekar as an IAS officer, with Arshad Warsi, Jisshu Sengupta and Mahie Gill playing supporting roles.<br /><br />The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Akshay Kumar and Vikram Malhotra under T-Series, Cape of Good Films and Abundantia Entertainment.<br /><br />Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay Kumar is waiting for the release of Rohit Shetty's 'Sooryavanshi', Yash Raj Films' Prithviraj', Ranjit M Tewari's 'Bell Bottom' - a spy thriller, and Aanand L. Rai's 'Atrangi Re'.
