Transport Minister Wee Ka Siong told reporters today that he has asked the Road Transport Department (JPJ) not to issue compounds to vehicle owners who have modified their exhaust systems.<br /><br />Wee said instead JPJ will take a softer 'advocacy' approach which will involve the issuance of an inspection notice.
