With the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project 3.0 alignment, Transport Minister Wee Ka Siong said the megaproject will cost RM50 billion in taxpayers' funds.<br /><br />This, he contended, was the cheapest when compared to both BN and Pakatan Harapan’s proposed tracks.<br /><br />At a press conference this morning, Wee showed how the latest “ECRL 3.0” alignment would cost less and carry more cargo. He also said it would have a less negative impact on local communities and the environment.
