Two individuals were caught carrying the EVM machines on a two-wheeler by the public. The incident sparked an outrage and political parties such as Congress and DMK accused this breach of protocol. <br />Chief Electoral Officer Satyabrata Sahoo, confirmed that the men carrying the machine were members of EC and were carrying the machines which were not to be used for polling.
