PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang told reporters today that the party will continue to support the Perikanation Nasional government, and will not accept new alliances formed by other parties. <br /><br />Hadi said this when asked to respond to the phone conversation purportedly between Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and PKR president Anwar Ibrahim.<br /><br />Based on the audio clip, a person who sounded like Anwar had praised the person who sounded like Zahid over the latter's handling of last month’s Umno general assembly.<br /><br />During the Umno general assembly, the party delegates resolved to cut ties with Bersatu but gave Zahid the mandate to decide when.
