SUBSCRIBE to Vesa Channel <br /><br />A motorist has had a lucky escape after spotting one of the world's deadliest snakes pop its head out of her car's glove box while she drove down a busy motorway.<br />The driver was heading down the Logan Motorway in Brisbane last month during peak hour traffic when she caught sight of the 1.5m long red-bellied black snake.<br />Despite being just inches away from the deadly reptile, the woman calmly pulled over to the side of the motorway and trapped the snake underneath a bag.<br />Sharing a video of the horrifying encounter, Mr Johnson said the woman quickly pulled over after noticing the snake was 'moving towards her leg'. <br />'It was a race against time to get the snake out from behind the glovebox,' he said.<br />'The snake was finally released back into the bush after about 30 minutes of working him out of the vehicle.<br />Red-bellied black snakes are found along the east coast of Australia and in south-eastern South Australia.<br />They can grow up to two-metres long and while they aren't aggressive, they can cause severe pain and illness to humans if bitten.<br />There has been no recorded deaths from red-bellied black snakes in Australia but many bite victims will find themselves in hospital. <br /><br /><br />Mail : vesachannel@gmail.com<br />Find VESA Channel on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/VesaChannel
