PPIM wants strong response from IGP over bodyguard abuse case

Muslim Consumers Association of Malaysia (PPIM) chief activist Nadzim Johan today called on Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Abdul Hamid Bador to respond appropriately after the suspect allegedly beat two bodyguards claimed to be friends with the top cop.<br /><br />Yesterday, police arrested an employer after his bodyguards accused him of beating them and forcing them to stop fasting during Ramadan at gunpoint.<br /><br />According to Dang Wangi OCPD Mohamad Zainal Abdullah, the incident started on Tuesday night when the 43-year-old suspect confronted his two bodyguards at the lobby of a condominium along Jalan Pinang, Kuala Lumpur.<br /><br />He supposedly questioned the bodyguards whether they were fasting that day.<br /><br />When the reply came back in the affirmative, the suspect allegedly berated the bodyguards and ordered them to follow him home to Batu Nilam, Klang.
