West Virginia Offers, $12,000 Relocation Incentive <br />for Remote Workers.<br />The program Ascend WV was announced by <br />the state's Governor Jim Justice on April 12.<br />It offers qualified remote workers who apply <br />and are accepted by the program an opportunity <br />to receive $12,000 over the course of two years.<br />As added incentive, Gov. Justice touted the outdoor <br />recreational spaces that the state has to offer.<br />[Ascend WV] will allow adventurers to enjoy world-class recreation, uncrowded spaces, and a low cost of living while staying fully connected to their jobs, Jim Justice, WV Governor, via CNN.<br />Applicants must be at least <br />18 years old and be employed remotely full-time <br />by a company located outside of West Virginia.<br />The initial host cities include Morgantown, <br />Lewisburg and Shepherdstown.<br />While applicants greatly outnumber the amount of <br />spots available for the program, financial supporters <br />of Ascend WV intend to expand it to all 55 counties
