Umno election director Tajuddin Abdul Rahman has supported party president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's decision to axe Arau MP Shahidan Kassim as the Perlis Umno chief last week.<br /><br />Shahidan had been a proponent for Umno to continue working with Bersatu, putting him at odds with Zahid.
