Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain on May 14 said the central government earlier exported vaccines to different countries and is now asking to buy Covid-19 vaccines floating global tenders.<br /><br />“This is a weird thing that approx 6.5 crore vaccines were exported to different countries but now central government is asking to buy vaccines from other countries floating global tenders,” the minister said.<br /><br /> “We are having three types of vaccines allowed in the nation-Covaxin, Covisheild, Sputnik V and if there is a need of global tender, it should be done by the central government. The country could manufacture vaccines without any problem,” he added.
