The country recorded 2,67,334 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total case tally in the country to 2,54,96,330. With a fresh jump of over 2.67 lakh Covid-19 cases, the active caseload in the country now stands at 32,26,719. India has the second-highest caseload after the US. As many as 3,89,851 discharges have been made in the last 24 hours, which is more than the daily cases reported.
