50 Cent Jumpstarts<br />High School Business Program With, $300,000 Donation.<br />50 Cent has decided to give back to<br />students in Houston, Texas. .<br />The rapper donated $300,000 via his nonprofit,<br />G-Unity Foundation, to help kick off a <br />business program for high school students. .<br />The Houston Independent School District matched<br />his donation, bringing the total to $600,000. .<br />The G-Unity Business Lab will teach<br />at-risk students about entrepreneurship. .<br />According to Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner,<br />students will “engage in MBA-level lessons.”.<br />[Students will] engage in MBA-level<br />lessons, that represent the full life cycle of<br />a product or concept, from idea creation to<br />marketing branding to running a company, Sylvester Turner, via 'Vibe'.<br />50 Cent said he is “really excited” to help<br />provide the “opportunities and tools” for people<br />to take on entrepreneurship. .<br />For now, the program is only being offered to three local<br />high schools, but 50 Cent intends to expand.<br />Following COVID, providing the opportunities<br />and tools for people to make their path easier<br />in entrepreneurship, it’s exciting to be a part of<br />that.
