Despite a decline in the number of Covid-19 cases in the national capital, Delhi has been witnessing an increase in cases of mucormycosis (popularly known as black fungus). <br /><br />So far, Delhi has reported 197 cases of black fungus, informed Health Minister Satyendar Jain on May 21 while addressing a press conference. Jain also said, in the last 24 hours Delhi has registered 3,231 new cases of Covid-19 and the positivity rate of national capital now stand at 5.5%.
