The company announced the new feature on Wednesday through a post titled, <br />“You and the Algorithm: It Takes Two to Tango.”The update will allow users to view content sorted by most recent posts or their favorite friends and pages.<br />Though these options were already available to users, the settings were deeply buried, making it difficult to toggle on or off.<br />The social networking platform also plans to give users insight through their “Why Am I Seeing This?” feature.<br />The feed filter bar was rolled out for Android users on Wednesday and willbe available on iOS “in the coming weeks.”
