The senior Congress leader Kamal Nath remains defiant over his statement of ‘India is badnam, not mahan’. His statement stirred a fresh controversy on Friday as he termed India ‘badnam, not mahan’ (infamous, not great). Addressing the media during a religious visit to Maihar in MP, Kamal Nath claimed that India’s Covid situation was being monitored by the world. <br />The leader also claimed that due to the Modi government’s alleged inability to handle the Covid-19 pandemic in India, Indians living abroad were facing discrimination.
