Boston was without Kemba Walker and Robert Williams, and with the Nets shooting 59.3% from deep on the game, the Celtics couldn’t keep up. Following the game, a fan in the crowd threw a water bottle at Kyrie Irving as he was exiting the floor and going down the tunnel. The fan was identified, arrested, and banned for life from TD Garden.<br /><br />Jayson Tatum was asked about the altercation in his postgame interview<br /><br />“I just heard about that before I sat down and I mean...18,000 people in the building, I guess in any arena there are a few bad seeds, you know? I don't want that to overshadow the rest of the fans that came and supported us tonight. I was extremely happy to see that, but obviously, there's no place in the NBA for throwing bottles or throwing anything at a player, so I'm sure that they'll handle that right away.”<br /><br />Boston will suit up for what may be their final game of the season tomorrow night at the Barclays Center.
