Kangana Ranaut renovating her office<br />Kangana Ranaut was seen at her office in Mumbai's Bandra that was demolished by the BMC - the main civic body of the city last year in September. <br /><br />Apparently, she was inspecting the renovation work at her office. <br />The action was carried out a day after a notice was issued to Ranaut. She moved the court asking for the demolition to be deemed illegal.<br /><br />Court proceedings went on till the first week of October. The court concluded the hearing and reserved its order in the matter.<br /><br />The BMC faced condemnation for not showing such promptness in other cases of illegal structures. Ranaut's lawyer claimed that the demolition was done in a vengeful manner, as not just the structures within the office but also the furniture and other fixtures were demolished.<br /> <br />On the work front, Kangana Ranaut's much-awaited project 'Thalaivi' which was slated for a theatrical release on April 23, this year got postponed due to the rise in the number of COVID-19 cases in India. The film is a biopic on the life of Tamil Nadu's celebrated actress-turned-politician Jayalalithaa.<br /><br />She also has Tejas, Dhaakad, and "Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda" in the pipeline. Kangana has also signed up to play the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in an upcoming political drama.
