A 19-year-old girl was allegedly gang raped by two youths near her village under Baripada Town Police limits in Mayurbhanj district. <br />Based on the complaint filed by the girl, police immediately swung into action and arrested two persons, including a minor. <br />As per the complainant, the girl went to a nearby place to attend Makar Sankrati rituals early morning. This is when the accused forcibly took her to a nearby field and raped her. The victim somehow managed to escape and narrated her ordeal to her elder sister, following which a complaint was filed. <br />After receiving the complaint, Baripada Town Police Station Sub-Inspector Ranjan Kumar Behera rushed to the spot and managed to nab the accused.
