India has reported 70,421 new Covid cases -- lowest since March 31 and 3,921 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry. The top five states which have registered maximum cases are Tamil Nadu with 14,016 cases, followed by Kerala with 11,584 cases, Maharashtra with 10,442 cases, Karnataka with 7,810 cases, and Andhra Pradesh with 6,770 cases. 71.88 per cent of the new cases are reported from these five states, with Tamil Nadu alone responsible for 19.9 per cent of the new cases.
