Lockdown-weary Filipino digital nomads are moving to work near the beach and mountains as the lingering coronavirus pandemic triggers a remote work set-up in shuttered tourist destinations. "I got to spend time being creative again, thinking about what to do next," says an entrepeneur who had moved to the coast to work.<br /><br />Entrepreneur Carlo Almendral holds virtual meeting with clients and works on artificial intelligence in between his morning biking on the countryside, sipping wine with friends on the shore during sunsets.<br /><br />The new work set-up inspires creativity and eases mental stress, they said, as well as support the struggling tourism business amid restrictions on leisure travel.
