'Russia and Britain in WAR of Words Over Alleged Hostile Encounter in Black Sea'<br /><br />Russia has released footage it said shows the moment two of its warplanes tried to stop a British ship enterring its waters.<br /><br />The HMS Defender was tailed by a Russian Navy ship near annexed Crimea in Moscow-claimed territorial waters.<br /><br />Russia said warning shots were fired and bombs dropped from the air to force the destroyer out.<br /><br />Russian Army Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov said: "The moves by warships of the U.S. and its allies have been clearly provocative.<br /><br />"This creates preconditions for incidents and doesn't help ease tensions in the military sphere."<br /><br />#Russia #Crimea #HMSDefender
