Haveri has become first district in Karnataka to start preparations to fight possible 3rd wave of Covid-19. The government is setting up check-up camps at all PHCs to scan children for any possible disease or malnutrition. These camps will cover 2.7 lakh children and will continue till July 31.<br /><br />While speaking to ANI, Bommai said: “Haveri in Karnataka has become first district to start preparations to fight against 3rd wave of Covid-19. As we are we're setting up check-up camps at all PHCs to scan children for any possible disease or malnutrition. These camps will cover 2.7 lakh children.”<br /><br />Bommai also said, “The chief minister of Karnataka B S Yediyurappa and the state health minister Dr K Sudhakar have appreciated this initiative and are planning to implement it across Karnataka. On June 28, I will inaugurate a camp in Udupi."
