Ingredients: <br />1 large onion<br />2 large cloves of garlic<br />4 cups tomato puree<br />7 tbsp butter<br />1/2 tsp salt<br />1 tsp sugar<br />1 tbsp fresh/dry oregano<br /><br />Instructions: <br />Peel onion and garlic. Using a knife cut a few small notches in the garlic cloves. <br />Place all ingredients in a small pot and cook on high heat until boils.<br />Lower heat to a minimum and cook for 45 minutes. Stir gently every few minutes. <br />Serve on pasta with feta cheese and fresh oregano on top, or use this sauce for <br />pizza, shakshuka, and more.<br /><br />
