27-year-old Indian star archer from Ranchi, Deepika Kumari regained the number one position in global rankings following her hattrick of gold medals at the World Cup Stage 3 in Paris on Sunday. Deepika was born and raised in Ranchi. Her father is an Auto rickshaw driver and mother is assistant nursing staff. <br /><br />"Now, we have two players in the family. They feel more confident while playing together. They will definitely win a medal in Tokyo Olympics. Coaches and Arjun Munda helped her from the beginning to become a better player," said Deepika's mother Geeta Devi.Her father said, “We're very happy. Her next goal is Olympics. We hope that she along with her husband (Atanu Das) will bring a gold medal.”
